Young Leader Training Weekend

The next Young Leader training weekend is 7-8 March 2020
The modules covered will include:
- Module A Prepare for Take-off!
- Module E Game On
- Module F Making Scouting Accessible
- Module J Communicate It !
The weekend will take place at Huish Woods Scout Campsite, West Hatch, Taunton, TA3 5RH. It is also fully catered (utensils not needed). The cost is £20, which can be paid on the weekend. Applications are welcome from all those taking part in the Young Leaders Scheme. The weekend is normally very popular, so early booking is recommended. The closing date for the March camp is Friday 22 February 2020. Booking is via the County website booking system. Having booked your place, you will need to confirm your attendance by downloading and submitting a completed Health & Consent form by email to the County Explorer Scout Administrator (Tracey Hyman): explorers@somersetscouts.org.uk
Participants should arrive at 9am on the Saturday with an aim to start at 9.30am. We will finish at approx. 3.30pm on the Sunday. You will need to bring a tent, smart uniform top half (for Saturday evening only), warm casual clothes, warm sleeping kit, blanket, pillow, torch, indoor and outdoor clothing, and footwear. You may want to bring indoor footwear (ie crocs, slippers, trainers) as the floor in the Govett Hall can be cold.
