Blackdown District 2024 AGM

Blackdown District Scout Council is holding its 2024 Annual General Meeting as follows:

Date & time: Tuesday 21 May at 7.30pm.

Location: Tangier Scout & Guide Centre, Taunton, TA1 4AS.

All parents, Scouts and volunteers are invited to join us to reflect on some brilliant moments from the year. Besides Scout Council governance matters, this is our opportunity each year to review and celebrate the previous Scouting year (1 Jan – 31 Dec 2023), and all that we achieved both as a District, and for and on behalf of the young people who make our Scouting community. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible attend.

The documentation for the AGM consists of:

• AGM Agenda
• Trustees Annual Report
• Annual Accounts (including the Independent Examiners report)
• Annual Review
• Scout Association Constitution for a Scout District (Chapter 5 of POR)
• 2023 AGM minutes

As no paper copies of these documents will be provided at the meeting, please either print them off or download to your tablet or other device if you’re able to and familiarise yourself with them before the meeting. There will be an opportunity to ask questions or seek clarification on these during the meeting.
