Camp at Home

Proudly presenting Blackdown’s Camp at Home Virtual Camp!

Welcome to Blackdown’s first ever virtual Camp at Home. We may have to camp at home on this occasion… but at least we can all do it together!

Everyone is welcome to participate – there are no age or geographical restrictions. You just have to follow government guidelines by staying at home and staying safe, whilst joining in.

First of all – if you are feeling brave, go and pitch a tent in your garden or build an indoor den out of blankets or boxes! Now you are all set and can start to enjoy the activities on offer.

Don’t forget to join the OPENING CEREMONY on Facebook at 12 noon on Saturday 7th November.

There are a number of activities available for you – all of them are designed to be possible to do at home, and there is something for every age group.

From Saturday morning, just click on the buttons below, where you will be able to choose your next activity. Each activity film is hosted on our YouTube channel (Blackdown Scouts at Home 2020) and you can access all the videos there too.

We look forward to seeing your photos and comments on www.facebook.com/blackdownscouts or by email to camp@blackdownscouts.org.uk

If you encounter any IT issues with the films or website links during the day, please drop us a quick email, so that we can fix things as soon as possible for you.

Join us on Saturday night for our Virtual Campfire.

On Sunday morning we will be holding a reflective time for Remembrance Sunday with the County Chaplain, James on Facebook. We hope as many of you will be able to join us as possible.

After a busy weekend, please join us for the Facebook Live closing ceremony at 12pm on Sunday.

Have a great camp.  Enjoy yourselves…. and (most importantly) stay safe, Blackdown!
