County Commissioner, Elizabeth Henderson hosted a special awards presentation to celebrate a number of outstanding achievements for our amazing volunteers!
Huge congratulations to everyone in Blackdown that received an award.
Jacqueline Hopkins – ADC Beavers and Roy Crocker – District Training Advisor received their Silver Acorns. The Silver Acorn is only awarded for specially distinguished service.
Scarlett Atherton (Wilton) and Julian Harding (Network) also received their Queen Scout awards, the highest youth award available in Scouting.
Pam Gaines the former District Commissioner, was also thanked for her long service and commitment to Blackdown District.
