Kenya 2019

Posted on 5 September 2017

Would you like to be part of a very new and exciting project taking a group of 14 to 24 year old’s to a remote village in Kenya called Nakuru. The trip is volunteer based and the group will be spending time between two school helping in many different activities from teaching, running activities, skill sharing and helping with low scale building and maintenance work. This would be a 10 day trip of volunteering, meeting fellow Kenyan Scouts and enjoying being part of a very special project that will have a long lasting effect in a 3rd world country?

We have an information evening on 18th September, 7pm, at Tangier Scout and Guide centre. If you will be between the ages of 14 and 24 during August 2019, and invested in either Explorers or Network, then this is your chance to find out all about this amazing opportunity. Of course we are also looking to put a team of Adult support together as well. If you are an appointed adult leader and interested in this project then please also come along.

We will be linking with Younique travel adventures for this long term project. If you would like to find out some more about the projects and countries they are involved in please have a look at https://www.facebook.com/YouniqueTravelAdventures
