Come and join us on a great Adventure – whether you are a Young Person, Young at heart, new to Scouting, returning or moved to the area.
If your child would like to join in and become a Beaver, Cub, Scout or Explorer then you will need to get them enrolled with a Scout group.
The sections are divided as follows:
A large proportion of adults in Scouting have become involved once their children have joined. They may have helped out on the odd occasion, camp or fundraiser. They may have volunteered to become a committee member and help with the running of the group, or they may have chosen to get the necessary training to become a leader.
Once involved, most people really enjoy being a part of Scouts which is why the movement has lasted for over 100 years and is looking good to go another 100!
Scouts is a community based charity and relies on the support of the community and unfortunately some Groups in Blackdown do not have enough adult volunteers to be able to offer all sections.
If you are interested in getting involved please use the contact us page.
If you are already an adult member of the Scouts and are looking for a role in Blackdown, then please send us an email through our Contact page.
